It was nice summer trip - from Prague to Milan and italian sea. We were visiting Ravenna and Bergamo, very interesting little old towns. It was only 4 days, but very rich impressions trip.

Good Bye, Prague! We have order: booking car with tranfer in Milan!

Let's go! Between Prague and Ravenna something about 1000 km, goes part of the way through Germany, a tiny piece through Austria and then a beautiful mountainous Italy.

In the end, without incident we reach Ravenna and experience first disappointment. Where is the sea? Navigator said - from all sides, and the eyes see that around some tankers, tank with some chemistry and small bays with hanging chains for shoveling fish. However, among these epic landscapes find your hotel. Staff member tells in detail how to get to the beach where there is allocated to guests of this hotel is location.

After four hours on the beach hellishly boring - well, it's time overlooking the town. Ravenna was once the capital of Italy. Ravenna is different from other Italian cities, the presence of early Christian mosaics and tomb of Dante, who is considered not only a poet, but also the founder of the Italian language.

At nine o'clock in the evening you can go to any museum in the city. So we found ourselves in the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. In Italy, it is usually difficult to wonder wealth interior of the church, but it is the interior, as in the Basilica of San Vitale, sinks into the soul. Each element can be seen and to see sense in it, a mosaic made with skill, soul and love.

Mosaic is the main element in the design of the city. Street signs are decorated with mosaic patterns - and it does look very cool. Lampposts, benches - everywhere you will find a piece of the mosaic that is very decorate.

We gave the cars fo rent and then we went to Bergamo by public transport, a town from which flies to Prague. In Bergamo airport I personally was at least five times, but it was not possible to view the city, so this time I correct this defect. Old Town is located on a hill, which can be reached by funicular or by walking ( for athletes and want to save a few euros per ticket). At the top of the station is a cafe where we tried yellow and orange melon and admired the view.

Rented a car in Prague from Runwell for our vacation. This was after seeing terrible reviews for another well known brand we had reserved a car rental through. Cancelled that reservation and went with Runwell. What a breath of fresh air... They are customer friendly and amazingly easy to work with. Pick up was straight forward. The car was what we expected, it ran great, no issues. Drop off of ...
Super easy car rental. Absolutely no hidden fees, unlike most car hire companies. And a really friendly team. Would definitely recommend!
